The Endler's Livebearers I fell in love with these fish the moment I saw them. They are related to guppies, but smaller. The males are primarily green and orange or red and about an inch long. The females are almost twice as large and are a dull gold brown color. I don't have a great picture of mine yet, but take a look at these beautiful fish here. Mine aren't quite this colorful, but they're still babies, so it's very likely their colors will change. There are a number of patterns available, but these fish are hard to find. There are usually a few auctions on eBay for them at any given time if you can't find them in a specialty fish store. (Don't bother to look for Endler's Livebears in big chain pet stores like Petco or PetsMart--they don't have them--yet.) It's very likely that these fish will eventually become very popular aquarium fish! |
